I might be wrong, but it felt like after the state and federal govt pushed so long and hard for residential solar and enticing people with PGE electric credit to save $, PGE ended up changing the rate credit they would give to homeowners generating electricity to where the offset is not as beneficial as it was 15 years ago to the average rooftop residential customer.

That’s EXACTLY what ALL of the utilities in CA did. They now charge a per KwH fee to “deliver” electricity at a rate that’s higher than most states charge for the electricity itself.

It’s purely for profit and these “public” utilities are for profit, not for the public. CA has the most expensive electricity in the country (next to Hawaii) for nor other reason other than the profit.

Same kind of bs with dam removal and solar corruption (paying 3-5 cents a kw while charging us 15-19cents per kw)is Pac Power.
