PRO AG PODCAST: Among Outlaws on America's Lands with Keely Covello, with Bonus Special Episode Reading "Hippies & Cowboys"
Host ag journalist Rachel Gabel discussed with Covello what is happening on public lands where cartels and black market cannabis operations have an estimated 6000 grow sites.
Rachel Gabel is a prominent ag journalist based in Colorado. She is the assistant editor of The Fence Post and a syndicated columnist. I have long been a follower of Rachel’s excellent work and was honored to be a guest on her podcast Pro Ag to discuss my documentary on public lands in the West where black market cannabis and cartel presence threaten the environment, the public, and the ranchers who graze these remote regions.
In a follow-up bonus episode, I read my documentary companion piece “Hippies and Cowboys: The Murder of Mendocino County Rancher Dick Drewry.”
Thank you for having me Rachel! Her podcast is excellent and her writing is truly the best of the best in agriculture journalism today. Follow Rachel Gabel on Facebook or visit her website to read her column.
